Our Business

Luo Social Forum was established on 12th August 2006 and is a none-profit making voluntary community organization representing all Luo people of Africa origin but not exclusively. A recent statistic published in Kenya found out that the Luo community of Western Kenya region is one of the most poorest and deprived and in that note the organization intend to nurture and pool together resources by providing linkages for the benefit of the Luo Social Forum and its members.

Luo Social Forum will create a forum for discussion; critical analysis and self-reflection in deliberating matters for the community importance {promoting diversity}.

Membership of Luo Social Forum is open to anyone who can benefit and further the said objectives of organizations.

Luo Social forum is run by a Management Committee elected by and accountable to its members. It has Programme Coordinator who reports to the management Committee on project specifics, staff and volunteers who report to relevant line of management.
